Braided Cable Pulling Socks for 12-150mm Cables Rated 10-30KN
Product Overview
Most jacket damage on a power cable happens at the pulling point, unless the grip distributes the force evenly. The SWL sock answers that problem with a high tensile steel braid that closes around the cable over its full circumference, suiting diameters from 12mm to 150mm at working loads of 10-30KN. A reinforced collar takes the strain where the braid meets the pulling line, and the hot dip galvanized finish copes with coastal atmospheres. The sock is used for overhead terminations, substation hook-ups, underground duct pulls and emergency repairs.
